Who We Are
One of the traditional prayers in the synagogue says, “Cause a new light to shine on Zion, and may we are worthy to live in its radiance.” “Ohr Chadash” in English means new light and this light provides the name for our congregation.
Our worship is carefully built on the Jewish historical, biblical models. The various sections OF OUR SERVICE are helps in worshipping G-d and are vehicles for experiencing his reality. Jewish worship is, therefore, a sacred drama in which we must be participants, not observers! Traditional worship of Judaism, as experienced by Yeshua and developed through the ages, fosters a dynamic personal encounter with the G-d of the universe.
